Hello 6th Grade Parents and Students,
Sixth Grade Life Science is a year-long course that emphasizes learning through hands-on scientific inquiry. Specific skill development includes observation, measurement, classification, and experimentation through the scientific process. Concepts include structure and function of organisms (micro and macro), heredity, ecosystem structure and function, environmental science, and evolution. These skills and concepts are learned and applied through various field study and lab projects.
